Al Morales

CRL Corps, 2018 Minneapolis, MN

Al Morales is an educator of almost 30 years. He received his Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University where he studied sculpture. His love of the natural world, combined with concerns for the environment, ultimately led him to a career as a middle school science teacher spanning 17 years. He later earned Masters and Doctorate degrees in educational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and now serves as a public school administrator. Increasing concerns over the climate crisis compelled him to find ways to influence change. He and his daughter, Alana, were trained as Climate Reality Leaders through Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project. They now, both individually and together, seek to raise awareness while also spreading messages of hope for our planet and all of its beautiful creatures.

Al is a member of The Climate Reality Project: Philadelphia and Southeastern PA Chapter.
