About the event

The federal Farm Bill is one of the most far-reaching policies passed by Congress, passed every five years and affecting our everyday lives -- from the food on our table to the ways we produce energy. This year, it also presents a huge opportunity to reduce climate emissions from agriculture and help farmers farm more sustainably.

This year, there is a huge opportunity to pass a Farm Bill that includes programs to help farmers farm more sustainably, with more climate-smart agriculture, and to conserve more land. But it could also become a vehicle for environmental rollbacks. So, we need to make sure our officials know that a pro-environment Farm Bill is a priority.

Join us and partner groups to learn more about what the Farm Bill entails, what it can mean for sustainable and climate-smart agriculture and conservation, its impact on Pennsylvania, and how you can make your voice…
