We work to reverse the climate crisis.

The Climate Reality Project: Philadelphia and Southeastern PA Chapter is catalyzing a local and statewide solution to the climate crisis through education, advocacy, and collaboration that mobilizes urgent action across every level of society within the Greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area encompassing the surrounding tristate region in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

In our region—especially—this means an aggressive, resilient, persistent, and committed focus on two major campaign fronts: accelerating the switch to renewable energy and halting petrochemical buildout.

We build regional, national, and global partnerships to contribute to global solutions that reverse climate change.

The Climate Clock (@theclimateclock) counts down the critical time window to reach zero greenhouse gas emissions (our “Deadline”), while tracking our progress on key solution pathways (“Lifelines”)!

We see that we can #ActInTime to #ActOnClimate by implementing solutions we already have.
The Climate Countdown Clock is now officially installed in the East Wing of the Pennsylvania Capitol building—in proximity to the people who need to see it most!

Our Chapter joined allied organizations across PA, led by members of the Better Path Coalition and organizers of the inaugural Pennsylvania Climate Convergence, to advocate and petition the Department of General Services to keep the six and a half feet long clock in its spot permanently, after we unveiled it during the inaugural Pennsylvania Climate Convergence weekend, June 11 - 13, 2022.

The Climate Reality Project: Philadelphia and Southeastern PA Chapter comprises members of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps and public citizens from around the Philadelphia metropolitan area, including surrounding Pennsylvania counties (Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester); New Jersey counties (Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester); and Delaware counties (New Castle and Salem).

The google map plots the approximate distribution of our members (green ring icon) by city, state, and zip code only.  The pinned locations do not identify the specific address of a member.
